Dick and Roxanne Johnson met at the University of Jamestown (Jamestown College in those days) in the early 1980’s. They have lived, worked, and raised their family in the Jamestown North Dakota area over the past 30+ years.
Dick worked for Cargill Malt from 1987 until the plant closed in 2018. He learned various aspects of the malting business but one thing was true for all positions—”teamwork is key”. Dick has been in charge of millions of dollars worth of malt, shipped all over the world. He knows how to handle big jobs with integrity. In addition, he has developed the essential skills of:

Roxanne has worked as a nurse practitioner at the North Dakota State Hospital, Essentia Health, and Medallus Urgent Care. Helping others is her nature. She has been in situations, sometimes life-threatening, where quick decisions matter. “I’m used to working in difficult situations and used to changing the way I do things to make things work—quitting is not an option”. For years, Dick & Roxanne dreamed of creating their own business, but didn’t know how it would work.
